of cute cards approaching!!!

I only really do cute around Christmas time - although Whimsy has been sneaking into my repertoire recently so hence the thank you cards. They will come later on as photos have yet to be done. I made 10 last night but I was using images previously made and stored away for some unforeseen Christmas circumstance... yeah I know OK I stamped loads of a friends image and coloured them on hols and never got round to doing anything with them!!! So laters for them.

Now for some more images of other things... The first one is on Mirri card so if you look to the right of the image you can see my hand on the camera - this amuses me for some reason - but also adds quite nice texture to the card - lol. All of these were UFO's and scraps and odd card blanks I have had hanging around for a while - see I am on a use it up drive. I just love these little stamps by Woodware - one of my best buys recently.

Next card is Orange and Green (should never be seen) stamped embossed and watercoloured from tombow markers then layered up on scraps, few beads and a couple of brads and its amazing what you can come up with....

The next three cards are scraps used to make a torn background and then a small image or embellishments added - quite minimal but I quite like these. Some of the papers used are handmade and others are just your normal off the shelf jobbies but the japanese yuzon paper (I think it is called) is just fab and I didn't want to hide it away - I think the bluey one in particular is like a beach scene and the bird on the paper is in just the right place!

I think that is sufficient for now - gotta go and do some real stuff - you know penny earning :-)

You're just getting craftier and craftier, Rachel. I love everything you've done, but particularly the torn paper ones - very effective.
