Hot Hot Hot

Well Cait that is - ended up in A&E last night due to hot head, cold hands and feet, inconsolable gagging child!!! Seems to be just a cold virus of some sort though although the temp is persisting today and she has been really miserable - only just got her off to sleep now. So much for trying to sort her sleep patterns out!!! She is on Calpol and Nurofen at the moment - if it is still up tomorrow will phone the Dr for an appointment I think.

Finally posted off my big parcel of jewellery and cards for my friend to sell for me - I worked out the retail cost - Over £400 - for the insurance and scared myself a bit!!! She wants me to do kits but I need to source really cheap tools first I think so we can have a starters kit that includes them.

Weather is quite pleasant today - not so showery and more sun so that is nice.

Got some gorgeous beads from China the other day - bit of a risk for me but the seller on ebay was lovely and the bead arrays are just wonderful. All Lampwork of some variety or other and some lovely mixes which will challenge my usual purple and bluey greens. Made a lovely bracelet last night with turquoise and white, think I will call it "Summer Skies". I love it when they have lovely names. The next one I want to make is chocolate and turquoise/pale blue - may have to find some more beads for that one from somewhere - not a colour mix I tend to go for! I enjoyed getting all the bits out for it though and sitting there twiddling away while Cait was going off to sleep (this was earlier in the evening).
