The Chicken House & Other News

Well it's certainly not a hut - this thing has taken FOUR DAYS to reach fruition. Next Door Man has decided he wants to get some chickens beofre they get banned because of bird flu. Barrett homes have nothing on this guy's Chicken House building skills - it even has a tiled roof - all properly done with batons etc. I shall be expecting some eggs for putting up with all the hammering and sawing that has been going on for the last few days.

I have had a busy week this week - Wed I trotted off to my sisters to go up to Lichfield and found a craft shop - bit pricey - and wanted to go to the bead shop but they have moved house to next door and were closed - talk about bad timing - arghghhghgh. Ah well will have to go again some time or other. Friday had a new Baby thing to go to - bit naff but am hoping it will improve and it is free (I likes free things). OH was home till lunchtime as well which was nice - he does the baby stuff when he is around in the morning which means I get a lie in and a bath in peace!

Back to normal next week on the baby calendar so Cait will have a few more things to do and I get to socialise instead of being cooped up. I have had to have a spending spree craft wise to keep me sane! I got a couple of packs of tapestry rubber stamps which are just fantastic - really inspiring and have made a dozen cards with them already! Got lots more planned as well as I keep thinking of stamps I already have that I can combine them with.

Got a couple of things from Create and Craft channel on their free postage day - still waiting for them to arrive and then today we trooped out to exciting Solihull and I raided Poundland and also Lakeland for craft goodies and a few other bits and bobs - I love Poundland they have such great bargains don't they got some lovely card sticker things and also a garden trowel which is ideal for our little patio garden - my other stuff is at the allotment and it is a bind remembering to traipse it about.

I have also done the allotment thing for a couple of days and will update seperately about all that as this is already getting long (oh what an exciting life I lead....)
