Tuesday Blues

Its Tuesday and ermmm well OK its some Red for you for the little extra over on the Daring Card Makers Blogeroonie. This little gem was inspired by a Card that Lythan did last January based on one of her skirts!!!! Although the original was Blue and Red I think, its where the idea came from. Stamps are Stampin' Up! but the ribbon, card and gems are all general stash items.

This is also known as a one layer card - ie doesn't layer and has only one piece of card - when someone mentioned this I thought - noooo too hard" but then realised that is what I had done here so maybe not so difficult after all - and superdooper quick too.


As I mentioned we have indeedy bought a house and things are progressing apace. We are hoping for a move Middle of May - was going to be earlier but we though lets replace the car as well so we need a bit of money breathing space and a months mortgage just about does that !!

It is a lovely 3 bed 1840 ish cottage with extras from later years and loads of garden and land to the side with potential for expanding as we out grow it all! Hopefully we will find the cash from somewhere to do any work we have ideas for despite the fact we haven't even moved in yet!!

Its not too far from where we are now and has a lovely little local school and nursery so I am hoping we can get Cait in there. If not I am hoping for the nursery near where we live at the moment which has a very good reputation and is to become a child centre over the next couple of years so lots of other services on site.
